All submissions are reviewed before being published to ensure they align with our mission of supporting Black artists and strengthening local arts communities.

Black Artist Forward provides a free platform for Black artists and cultural organizers to list Black art events, exhibitions, performances, and community experiences in Fayetteville and across North Carolina.
Your event will be published on our site and included in our general event listings, helping community members discover cultural events and art experiences near them.
This tier is designed to ensure access and visibility for all artists and organizers, regardless of budget.

Highlighted listings receive enhanced placement on our event page so more visitors see your event first. This option is designed for artists and organizers who want additional exposure within our Black art events community in Fayetteville and across North Carolina.

Event Submission Guidelines
Black Artist Forward (BAF) is a curated cultural platform dedicated to increasing visibility for Black artists and Black art events in Fayetteville and across North Carolina. Our goal is to highlight exhibitions, performances, workshops, and community cultural experiences that align with our mission of supporting the arts and strengthening local creative ecosystems.
We welcome submissions from artists, organizations, and cultural partners whose events align with this purpose.
What can be submitted
Eligible submissions include:
- Black art events, exhibitions, and showcases
- Cultural events centered on community, arts, or creative expression
- Workshops, performances, and public programming in the arts
- Community arts events and First Friday–style cultural programming
- Select multicultural or collaborative events that meaningfully support the arts community
Review and approval
All submissions are reviewed before being published.
- Please allow up to 2 business days for review and posting
- Submissions may be edited for clarity, formatting, or consistency with site standards
- We reserve the right to approve, decline, or remove any submission that does not align with the mission or purpose of the platform
Submission requirements
To ensure quality listings for our community:
- Events must be arts or culture related
- All information must be accurate and complete
- Incomplete submissions may be delayed or rejected
- BAF does not sell tickets or act as a ticketing provider
Content alignment
Black Artist Forward prioritizes events that directly support Black artists and cultural visibility. Some multicultural or general arts events may be accepted if they meaningfully contribute to the broader arts community and align with our platform’s purpose.
