Welcome to Level Three, the Committee Member level of our Leadership Track.
As a Committee Member, you work directly with BAF board members to develop ideas, solve problems, and build the programs and systems that move Black Artist Forward forward.
This is where you move from representing BAF to helping build it.
Our Committees

Each committee works with a designated board member to develop ideas and recommendations within its area. Committee Members have a voice in the process and help turn that voice into action.
Getting Started
Once you're ready to Level Up, check your membership level.
Our Committee Members demonstrate a deeper commitment to BAF through one of the following:

Maintaining a $10+ monthly BAF membership

Inviting five people to become paying BAF members

Securing an approved donation or sponsorship

Receiving Access Support if a financial contribution is not currently accessible to you
Accessibility matters to us. If you're ready to take on more leadership but aren't able to make a financial contribution, you can submit our Access Support form to explore an alternative pathway.
Your Next Level
When you've completed 50 volunteer hours, met your Committee Member commitment, and completed the Level Three training, you'll be eligible to advance to Level Four: Advisory Committee.
Level Four members are board eligible and may be considered for nomination when board seats become available.
You don't just have a seat at the table. You're helping build the table.
