Welcome to Level One, the starting point for your BAF Leadership journey.
As a BAF volunteer, you help us reach more artists, connect with our community, and make our programs possible. Whether you're helping at an event, supporting an exhibit, lending a hand behind the scenes, or volunteering virtually, your time makes a difference.
Getting Started
To begin, register as a BAF member. Membership is always free.
Once you're registered, you'll be able to view and sign up for available volunteer opportunities.
Your Next Level
There is no minimum commitment to become a volunteer. Show up, get involved, and learn how BAF works.
When you've completed 10 volunteer hours and the Level One training, you'll be eligible to advance to Level Two: Ambassador.
Volunteer Requirements

Volunteers must be 16 or older.

Volunteers under 18 must have a completed parent or guardian waiver.
Before You Volunteer
Depending on the opportunity, volunteering may involve:

Standing for extended periods

Working outdoors

Local travel between BAF activities

Lifting or carrying materials

Bending, moving, or setting up equipment
Individual volunteer opportunities will include any additional requirements you need to know before signing up.
